Hello

Welcome to our homestead, a.k.a The Healing Homestead.  We are Kenny and DaLana Kunellis, and we are so glad you are here. We have 5 children and 20 acres nestled in a small rural town in NW Missouri. Living a healthy lifestyle is incredibly important to our family. We raise our own beef, cows, and goats for milk, yogurt, cheese, etc., chickens for meat and eggs, a large vegetable garden, and a small orchard. We started this homesteading journey in 2020 just before the pandemic hit. A few months later we brought home our first dairy goats, and within a few weeks learned how to make goat milk soap. We were hooked instantly!

We have a history of skin issues in our family. DaLana has extremely sensitive skin, with skin allergies, eczema, etc. that she's lived with all her life, but the catalyst that got her into making goat milk soap was when Kenny was diagnosed with malignant melanoma in 2020. That began our journey toward non-toxic living.
